writing the devlog about writing the devlog
peak developer behavior: build a whole devlog feature, leave it sitting there with a "coming soon" sign on it for who knows how long, then finally sit down and populate it in one sitting like it's homework due at midnight. anyway, it's alive now. this is where the actual notes are gonna live going forward, progress, dead ends, the occasional css rant i already promised earlier. see you in the next entry, whenever that ends up being.

small batch of updates this round. the work section now has real case study pages instead of just a thumbnail and vibes, added an actual resume download button because apparently "just message me" wasn't professional enough, and built out this devlog app, which until a few minutes ago just said "coming soon" and left you hanging. fixing that right now. you're welcome, past me.

v3 is happening (send help)
v2 barely shipped and i already had 47 new ideas for how it could look better, which i think is just how this works forever. so, v3 planning is underway, mostly in the form of me redrawing the same wireframe at 1am and calling it "research." no eta yet. it's done when it's done, or when i run out of excuses, whichever happens first. ๐พ

i usually start by planning and sketching out the concept before diving into the actual development process. i utilize AI tools to give me ideas and help me debug stuff. i also document my progress.
i really love using Claude. my working style and Claude align perfectly. my second choice is the classic ChatGPT.
i think vibe coding is very effective especially for development. devs who utilize AI to work with their code are much faster than traditional no-AI development. (biased opinion from a vibe coder xd)
